300 eggs in a month?

Have some 20 laying hens plus some roosters. Filled out my egg laying tracker form this month and was shocked to see I'd gotten some 300 eggs for the month! Five meat birds meet their match this week (me!) and 6-week-old chicks go into their coop.

300 eggs? Holy smokes. We get a half a dozen or so a day and I'm excited lol.

That does sound like a lot of eggs!

Hmm, if it's a 30 day month, that makes about 10 eggs a day.
With 20 hens, I think you have some slackers in there
So it could be possible to get even more eggs in a month from that many chickens, if they would pick up their production a bit!
