    I have a small flock of 3 hens and found that two roosters were too much for the hens. The hens had many feathers missing and showed blood. So I culled a rooster. I believe that in a larger flock you may not experience this. I didn’t when I had 3 times as many birds.

    That was to be chickles and duckles, what I call the youngest members. Also nursing a hen after a dog attack. She is much better, and laying eggs again. Still living in the garage and in front of house in the long grass and shrubbery but much better
