Photo attached of my little Polish’s small white eggs that weigh about 24 g next to a silkie egg that weighs about 40 g next to the leghorn cross which weighs about 60 g.
My polish just started laying about two weeks ago so I’m hoping her eggs will get bigger in time!😊
Happens to all of us! When my leghorn cross laid her first egg, I was CONVINCED it was from one of my silkies, it was so small but color was right. 🥰
Congrats on Fettuccine's first egg!
Congratulations! Are you sure this is her egg? Polish lay white eggs maybe a light cream color. Also don’t usually start laying until five months.
One of my little Polish just started laying as well, very very tiny white egg I call it a starter egg and hopefully will get bigger in time!🥰
Looking a little punk rockerish at this point! 😬 Still too early to be sure keep an eye on the crest and this is not 100% but should be more rounded at this age. Here is a photo of one of mine when she was about the same age as yours. There are of course individual variations from chick to...
Before I got mine, my daughter wanted them, I never had any intention to get polish chickens, as I had heard that they were flighty and didn’t get along with other chickens. This has been proven to be wrong on both counts and they are some of my favorites!🥰
You are quite welcome! Enjoy your little quirky Polish chick! I have two 8 week old white capped black Polish pullets currently and they are the sweetest little funny characters.😊
Littel cutie! Too young. Girls will have nice rounded crests and boys will have wild punk rock crests. Your little one is still growing out it's crest feathers!:)
