Hello, Today, I put my first quail eggs in the incubator and I have also processed my first quail (1 bully male that had to go). I did it dry, then I remember, would it be better to first boil some water and dip it before pulling feathers (like chicken)?

If I breed Italian x Pharaoh what do I get in terms of color? Will one be dominant over the other? Or will end up as something in between the 2? Or 50 / 50% of each? Will having male vs female of one or the other make a difference?
