    Yes. She is a full grown female. That’s what I always think when the squawking starts. I was reading something about them changing after a few years, to much testosterone. I need to find that article again It also mentioned about the crossbreeding

    I have one peahen showing up at lunch and dinner screaming like she lost her babies, quiets when I come out, then digs a deep hole and dust bathes. My question is she is constantly getting out, peck for food, fluffing side ways like she can’t get comfortable. Then she followed me down the street...

    She is smaller then the other mama’s and she was laying them out in the open so I’m thinking she is new to it. Everything was off since day one. And im going on someone else’s rental property to check/feed. (Go through this every year). Not the moving of eggs though

    Thank you but looks like she is abandoning them. The male that watches over them is still hanging out but haven’t seen her. They would have started hatching in 1 more week. 🙁

    She was sitting on them on a door Matt then earlier I went to check on her and the were scattered. We have several wild ones in our neighborhood
