WOW he's a cutie! I would definitely say rooster. My satin roo is is also my friendliest/snuggliest. However my silkie roo is a real menace 😂

So cute!! They have been cracking me up with thier squawks. But to answer your question, no unfortunately not necessarily. I saw someone on this forum that had a roo start to crow at 6 weeks and his brother that hatched with him didn't crow for the first time until 5 months old.
