So, earlier today my brother caught a dove. One of the doves pupils is pure white, while the other is completely fine. Does anyone know what could be the cause of this birds white eye, or what’s wrong? Is there anything I can do to help, or will the other pupil go white? Other than the white...

So, the baby has passed away. And the baby pigeon wasn’t pecking the toes at all. My Dad thinks that the baby maybe had heart problems, and the blood didn’t get to the toes. Who knows... Anyways, thank you all for the help! I appreciate it.

The baby never had anything stuck on it’s toes, and there is a heating mat in the left corner, but not hot enough to burn anything. The toes don’t smell either. The bigger bird isn’t an adult quail, it is a baby pigeon.

The feed that is in there is has small stuff in it too, I ran out of the grounded up food, and it was late But i plan on grounding more up today. So the feed in there is only there for a small amount of time, and it had grounded up quail feed in it. Can the baby live without toes? What will...

There is nothing around the toes There’s nothing around the toes... Niether of the others are showing any sings, at least at the moment. I’m feeding them quail food, but I don’t know the name of the brand.

So, I have three baby japanese quails. All of them where fine until I noticed today one of them looked a bit iffy. The toes of the baby seem to be dying. The toes are going black and stiff. So far only the tips are bad, but I’m afraid that it’ll kill the baby... Does anyone know whats going...

Sorry for the late update.... Since it was the weekend the vets were closed, and the bird died later that night. Thank you all for the help anyways...

So, go this bird from a friends. It was kicked out and is at least 2x smaller than it’s sibling. Last night I noticed that there was blood in its poop. Then just now I noticed that on the cloth that I was using to hold it had blood on it. And then I saw this: What has happened? What can I do...

Unfortunately, the quail passed away during the night. I tried everything I could... I would have updated this page earlier, but I am quite distraught and upset right now with everything going on in my life... And the quail dying didn’t help. Thank you all for the help, thank you so much.

I haven’t given it any pain killers at all.
