I have a juvenile Buff Orpington Roo, named Dolly because of course he was supposed to be a hen, he crows very happily, but sometimes he makes a weird groaning or moaning sound. What is this? My tiny d'Uccle Mille Fleur makes a similar sound when she is laying an egg, and boy is she vocal. But why would a roo make that kind of noise?
