YES! We must become fluent in the language of chickens! I loved the sound examples, and advice to learn on your own. I would like to advise against trying to repeat the chickens. The last time I did that I must have gotten the tone or context wrong because they all suddenly stood still and looked at me. After a minute they said some things to each other, and went back to what they were doing.
My Shirley makes the funny sound when there's something she doesn't like, people walking their dogs, a squirrel or rabbit that gets too close or a loud vehicle passing by.
