If you want to start or expand your flock but you don't know where to get more chickens? Well this is the right article for you! Plus at the end there's the best 8 hatcheries to buy from in the US!

1. Chick Days.
Every Spring or Fall you can find live chicks being sold in most feed stores, (Tractor Supply, Rural King, etc) and you can also find more types of birds like Ducks, Turkeys, and More! (Note: The minimum you can get in most locations is 6.)

2. Online.
You can also order chicks year round online and get them shipped right to your doorstep! Even though a chick or two might pass away in the stressful shipping process. You can also get hatching eggs off of ebay! (Thanks to DiYMama540 for the edit suggestion)

3. Farm Swaps.
This is where you can find chickens, ducks, and pretty much any animal being sold. (I still don't get why they call it swap :p) And you can also look at Facebook Swaps (Example: Chicken swap of 'insert city name here') If you have a Facebook account!

Now for 8 of the best hatcheries in America! These are the hatcheries in america that farmers and chicken lovers alike love the most! Links to all their websites at the end. (NOTE: None of these hatcheries paid me AT ALL to include them.)
