What does it mean if your chickens have a floppy comb?

Hi!!! So NONE of my hens have floppy combs but I’ve seen hens with them now if that breeds not supposed to have a floppy comb what does it mean is it bad? Just wondering for curiosity’s sake

What breeds are your hens? Some breeds with straight combs have larger combs that will flop over, some are large and tall with no flop, some are small with no flop. My Welsummer has the biggest comb and it stands straight up, and my Faverolles and Orpington have shorter straight combs.

Some breeds have huge floppy combs with long wattles like the Leghorn while others have tiny combs resembling a little rosebud like Americaunas. Size of comb and type of comb totally depends upon what breed of chicken they are.
