Waters

Dose anyone know of a really good place with good waters? Mine has been ether not letting any water out or it is spilling it all out. So please let me know where you get your waters. I have tried about 5 different waters but none seem to work.

I use an open bowl. I have a heated one for in the winter.

I tried the nipple ones. They froze in the winter, leaked, and the birds pooped on top so filling it worried me.

I made the bucket ones with cups. I like those best for summer but the cups froze in winter.

a chicken farmer I know uses the bell ones and heat tape in the winter.

I got the refillable bowls but they don’t like the water. Maybe the hose makes it taste bad.

I’ll start off by saying I’m new to the chicken world. I purchased a 3 gallon Farm-Tuff top fill water container from TSC. I have it suspended a few inches off the ground in my run where corrugated roofing panels are above it. For winter I will probably have to change my setup to use a heated base.

Thank you for this recomindation. I tried this and it worked really well, and the heated base worked great as well.

This is my setup, also. It worked wonderfully. I did buy an extra waterer as it is easier to keep cleaned and changed.
