Hi all.
I wasn't sure where to put this, so please move it to a better spot if there's a different forum it should be in.

I've tried researching this, but haven't found much info. I'm looking for a good way of storing minnows for future feeding to my ducks. I go and catch fresh live minnows once a month or so in the summer, but I catch so many I'd like to try storing them for treats more often or in the winter possibly. I've tried freezing them in water like how we freeze fish we catch for eating, but they just turn into a mushy mess.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Freeze dry them? I don't even know if you can do such a thing...

I have seen that people do... But I don't have a freeze dryer.
I saw something about baking them possibly, not sure how that would smell though or how to store them from there 😅

Why freeze them in water? I’d think just put them in a baggie and chuck them in the freezer.
My girls would be thrilled to get your treats!
