Hi, needing help seeing what breed my chickens are. When purchasing I was told I was getting an Isa Brown, Barnevelder, Americana, and a Wyandotte. I'm just curious if that is actually what I purchased because after going back to the store the other day to look at more chicks they had one labeled as a different bread but when I googled it, it looks the same as the chick I had purchased under the assumption it was a barnevelder. Either way I've got my girls and love them non the less but just curious. TIA

Thanks! I wasn't too sure about the barnevelder and the Americana I was told was supposed to be fluffy as a tiny tiny chick and ours wasn't. The Isa out of all of our chicks we've got is the most friendliest and loving with my kiddos.

ISA browns are definitely not skittish birds. They're wonderful when it comes to human interaction. Their downside is all the reproductive issues they're prone to
