Need to find a home for roosters in South Florida

Hello,

I need to find a home for 5 roosters in South Florida. My parents live in the Hollywood, FL area cannot take care of them anymore.
Does anyone know where we could take them for them to live a happy life? Any advice would be great! Thank you!

do you have a local chicken group on Facebook? see if there are any farms in the area that would like to add some new genes to their flock? A quick search shows there is a group called 'Florida Backyard Chickens and poultry' on fb

For some bizarre reason, the Florida swap groups on FB predominantly work for Bantams, especially Silkies.
I kept trying to rehome various chickens on those pages, even young laying hens, and nada. Then I went back to Craigs list and wham, 3 customers in the last week. So try different places and methods until you know what works in your local community.
Keep in mind, roosters are hard to rehome unless they're free and eating them is not frowned upon.
