Light Brahma drama

I need some help sexing this chicken. We’ve named her? Mulan-Prianka (since it’s a Chinese-Indian bird). “She” is 18 weeks, almost 19 weeks, old and a bit grumpy with other chickens. Our black copper maran rooster of the same age is subjected to Mulan-Pria’s grumpy outbursts of feather picking. We haven’t heard a single crow from this Brahma, and the BCM rooster is definitely at the top of the pecking order and the one to keep watch over all the other birds. Mulan-Pria doesn’t seem too interested in that job. What do you all think? Perhaps a hormonal teenage hen or secretly a roo?

If this bird’s a rooster, shouldn’t it crow some by now? Or are Brahmas just super late to the game?

Not necessarily I have 2 Brahma cockerels. One started crowing around 16 weeks the other I heard his first crow this week at 7 months old.

That's a cockerel. Brahmas are slower to develop than other breeds. He's probably being submissive to the other rooster, and that's why he hasn't crowed.

Cockerel. They crow when they want to. Sometimes not until 40+ weeks.

He's a cockerel, and probably submissive to the other rooster, and so doesn't want to crow at this point.
