We are new here too. Not sure how fast runners grow but we have 3 rouens about 4 weeks old and they outgrew their metal trough brooder in 2 weeks. We transitioned them over to a pup tent. It has a waterproof floor and I lay down puppy pads and then cover those with pine shavings. Makes cleaning easier by rolling them up and toss out. Wipe down the floor and start again. Lol
