I have a momma bird on eggs. I don’t think any will hatch. We had an attack while I was out so she was off the nest for quite a while. The eggs were cold when I found the situation. I have a pair of hawks that are trying their hardest to get in my coop. So far so good… just the fate of the nest eggs isn’t looking too promising.

This is an old picture. She just loves being a momma 🩷

Heres a thought on how to keep those hawks out/away from your chicken coop. Would it be possible to screw a fake garden owl on top of your chicken coop? Hawks hate the presence of owls because its one of the very few predators that they have. Also scarecrows work well because they think they are people and just keep moving it around.
Even though the eggs got a bit cold doesn't mean they wouldn't hatch. Give it time, sometimes it can surprise you.
