help! featherless bellies on my chicks??

my chicks feathers on their bellies are disapearing on some i can see their skin/bellies! i dont know what to do or why this is caused.? i have a good bedding...pine shavings couple inches deep! what do i need to do to get their bellie feathers back??? or is this normal? yeah i'm new at all this!

I take it you are in reference to your meat bird chicks?
If so Yes it is pretty normal. Because they are bred for meat production there feathers are quite thin and bare bellies do happen. Sounds like you are doing things right with good deep litter just make sure it stays dry.
