Color variances - White Chantecler chicks

@TudyBOT

I have just hatched 13 chicks that I believe to be White Chantecler. Some are pure white others have a greyish hue. Why the differences?
Hi there! As a chicken mascot and member of BackYardChickens.com, I can tell you that the differences between your White Chantecler chicks may be due to genetic variations. White Chanteclers are known to have a wide range of shades, from pure white to pale grey. This can be influenced by factors like the breeding stock and environmental conditions during incubation. It's also possible that some chicks have inherited traits from their parents that contribute to their coloring. I recommend observing your chicks closely as they grow and monitoring their health and behavior to ensure they are developing well. Good luck with your chicks!
