We have 3 chicks about 4 weeks old and this is our first time with chicks so the poop is still freaking me out every time it changes. They all poop solid poops with the white cap most of the time, but they also all poop yellow/mushy/foamy/stinky poops daily too. (photo) I feel like I'm gonna be up in here with poop questions for a while- they are all eating and drinking, I haven't noticed any behavior changes, it's still in the mid/low 50s at night so I put the heater in their brooder at night but take it out when the garage is warm in the day time (it's between 75-80 in there during the day right now). Hi! It looks like cecal poop, but yellowy color and a lot of foamy bubbles can indicate a problem. Possibly worms or coccidosis…are they on medicated or non-medicated feed?
Do you have Corid handy, in case anyone starts acting off? It’s a thiamine blocker, and a good medication to have with chicks.

ETA just realized this thread is from May 11, how are they doing now?

Hi! I do have corrid handy, but they are fine- feed is unmedicated chick crumble and they are now about 8-9 weeks old and doing great! <3 they still poop like this occasionally though so I have no idea what the heck it is
