    Yes but others will add any Ameraucana or Aracauna that does not meet standards is an EE even if it is pure breeding.

    Mine are all friendly although some have gone thru a scared phase, but all of those have come out of it great and fall me around like puppies. I would wait and see what happens I would assume they will calm right down as they age but all chickens can be different :) maybe try some treats...

    The blue could becoming from your EE's parents? They are caring a gene and then they give it to their hatchlings? For your best bet at a lighter EE I would try taking your lightest EEs and putting them with a wheat Ameraucana. This would help for body type and keeping the blue/green egg going...

    I'm just getting into breeding EEs and I think for the pink you need to have a light brown egg layer with your EE, that wouldn't give you 100% on pink eggs though because you will still have a few that could lay blue eggs. I could be wrong on this so if anyone else knows please chime in.

    I would post in the sick forum too and add some electrolytes or acv to the water that might help her. Check her poop does it seem off color? Any mucus? Any worms or eggs? How's her crop? I would see if it's hard or mushy? Does she have an oder coming from her? Sorry a lot of questions but maybe...

    My guess that the mom had a parent with a strong white/ black feathering gene. Mix that with the father having white/black feathering you got her. But I'm not a gene expert that's just the best guess I have haha! I would love to see a full picture of her it looks like a beautiful bird:) my...
