Got down in the 50's last night, open windows allowed house to cool down nicely. Now the windows, blinds, and drapes are closed against the sun and to hold that cool inside against the high 80's outside today.

Supposed to be mid to high 80's the next 2 days, then cooler and rain on Wednesday.

Yep, humidity definitely makes it worse. It gets humid here too, but nothing like FLA....been there done that moved back to MI.

Another oddity from this morning. Mouse in trap on kitchen counter.....in two traps! Front leg in 1 trap, neck broken in second trap 2' away from where first trap was set. Dayum!

Rainy here today, just drizzling and dripping. Found an oddity in the coop this morning. On the poop board was an empty egg shell, broken open only at the small end, nickel sized hole...no real sign of the contents/remains neither on the board or in the nests. <shrugs> Now have 2 broodies...
