Still no goat kids, but I cleaned out part of the goat house today. Put the bedding around the potato plants. Ate my first tomato out of the garden. Yum.
Tired tonight, I also planted a bunch of flowers, and trimmed some of the bushes and small trees in the flower beds. I think I need a nap.
I am still trying to get stuff planted. More potatoes and I planted more beans today. Digging up more earth, adding stuff to it, etc. Also watered veggies and flowers. Lots of plants still need to be in the ground.
Been to Danville twice this week, and going again tomorrow.
I have been super busy. Hubby cut down a bunch of trees near the goat house. So now I get to cut all the branches off and get rid of them.
Still no baby goats yet.
Hay can be seeded with specific grasses, like Timothy or Alfalfa, or a mix of clover, fescue, weeds etc. Goats will eat most of it, horses are more fussy.
Feels like 98° here now, severe thunderstorm warning around 7 pm . Winds reaching gusts of 60 mph, hail, rain etc. Guess I don't need to water the plants!
