I would gladly slaughter them all for you if I could…I’m going through a really rough time over here dealing with tornado damage and such :( work has been nonstop and I feel like I’m dying.
Yes, it’s certainly not “ancient” in terms of the forests in CA, but still quite older than us. Seeds were imported there in 1901 as part of a program after the volcano happened.
Yeah, that’s what I’ve come to realise from others too and read some news recently about how they’re doing research on how it effects the people living there.
I did find 1 forestry job in Rotorua that interested me, but it’s wintertime there right now and no guarantee that I would actually get the job or if it would be stable enough to support living costs. That’s what sucks…I feel like it would be taking a very serious gamble.
I’ve been trying to convince my sis to go with me but she’s busy and I don’t want to go alone by myself cause it’s so far away. I’m not sure where I will want to live either…I’ll have to get a work visa and find a secure job first.
