I used to be a total night owl. Now I'm lucky to sleep past 6am. Years of getting kids up for school has me trained, plus my husband is a very early riser. He likes to be up by 5:30. It is nice getting chores done early. In summer it's nice and cool, in winter the wind hasn't started blowing yet.
I finally invested in a color laser printer back in March. Haven't run out of toner yet, and works every time with every device.
I run a business from home, and was buying new inkjet printers every three months. I print product labels. Thousands of them.
Those two have become beloved pets of my husband. He hates the chickens, tolerates the turkeys because they're delicious, but those ducks are his pets. :gig
Our fence is about 7 foot tall. The turkeys are the only escape artists. I'd have to net the whole thing to keep them in. Not happening, it's a very large area.

Jackie and her babies. :love
And a broody Tom.
He's also very protective of the babies. He went after our dog when she got too close to them earlier. Be interesting to see how they are with new ones if they hatch any.
