I don't think the injured turkey needs antibiotics. If he were mine I would clean the wound, apply Neosporin, and weigh him daily, and if he started losing weight, I would tube feed him.

Packed base rock is what a gravel driveway is. When packed, the earthworms are unlikely to wiggle up through it. Un-packed gravel will not work. Do you have a granite quarry near you?
Those arsenic-based histostats are toxic to dogs and waterfowl. Anyway, used to be that one could buy Histostat 50, and Blue Seal used to make a turkey food with it.
