"I'm single, unemployed, and late middle-aged. But I don't really get sad. I just don't think sadness is in my brain chemistry. When I go home to my apartment, I've got a faucet that releases both hot and cold water. You know how many billions of people don't even have clean drinking water...
Here I go again with my huge cliches. I can't help it, they're all in my head all the time. I live this one just about every day:
You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.
-- my grandmother (hee hee, I know she wasn't the originator -- but she's the one I learned it from!)
Okay, this is one of the biggest cliches of all time (I seem to keep repeating all the cliche ones) but it's been on my mind lately:
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
-- Attributed to Albert Einstein
Well I love your photos, and I can't even imagine being in the presence of castles and the types of ruins you have around you. I love those things too. I hope to be able to visit and see them in person myself someday. Thanks for sharing your photos!
The little bit I know about photography, all serious photographers do that, including (and I think especially) the greatest professional and artistic ones. So, see -- you are right in there with the big guys! And your photos are amazing. Do you ever enter them in exhibitions or anything?
