ocdman-- I'm really curious as I have seen two photographs of the ocelated birds, at least that was the identifying name to the pic. One was the deep rich tones of the bird you posted in your first post and another pic showed a bright medium metallic blue. It is phase, or effect of the lighting...

THese are the MOST gorgeous birds Ihave ever seen. I have seen the bright peacock blues and greens. THen Ihave seen a darker alsmost forest green. DO you have picutres you can post??
