Went back out and picked some cucs. I covered my tomato plants with netting. I hope it helps. I still have something eating my strawberries before I can get any! GRrrrrr!
These self watering systems are great! A lot of folks have theirs up higher and add rails on the sides to prevent them from falling over when storms or wind kicks up.
I hoped it would help some that might want to try it. You can add as many as you want to the water source.
You could do a raised garden box or two and hopefully that will keep him out.
I had one that I used for a couple of years till we built this water bed.
You can grow quite a bit in a small area. :lol:
Mary will you be adding side rails of some sort to keep your basket's from getting knocked over from the wind? I saw some on the RGGS that have added rails for support.

Today we added a trellis to the garden for tomatoes and an old wrought iron bakers rack to the grape vine for a trellis.
I found a small cluster of what had been grapes and only three tiny ones left. Those darn squirrels!

Sounds like you have a nice variety of things growing.
I planted a Mars grape this year, we added blueberries last year. My blueberries are in a 1/2 barrel due to the fact they won't grow in our black belt soil.
