Thanks! I'll check Bakers first, since I hope to order from them. If they don't have them, I may take you up on your offer. I'll let you know!

That's great! I've not found Holy Basil seeds, I don't think. I know the plant has medicinal properties. Where'd you get your original seeds?

Cucumbers? If so, the long English or Japanese cukes are my favorite. Few seeds, no need to peel, and they make great Chinese cucumber salad. They don't "talk back" to me after eating them either! They look wonderful Dan!

I I don't have any yet, but I'd like to get at least two. I want to make elderberry syrup for the medicinal properties.

I have baby eggplants! Green peppers, green beans and Roma tomatoes, cukes, coming along too. And I found Japanese beetles in the corn silks! I'm already looking forward to what I hope to grow on a larger property next year! The above is all in pots and kiddie pools!

Well the downside to growing things like corn and tomatoes in kiddie pools is their roots don't go deep enough to keep storms from blowing them over, and the pools aren't deep enough to hold stakes. I'm going to try some leftover hardware cloth around the outside of the pool, but I don't think...

Thanks LG! I think my mother used to pull out the sucker plants, but I've also seen arguments to leave them. Maybe I'll do some of each, as you suggested. I've always pulled the little tomato sucker branches or whatever they're called.

Question: do you cut/pull the sucker plants/sprouts on corn or leave them?

I too have the white moths. I thought they were cabbage moths, as my mothers used to call them. Something is really loving my pepper plants!

Woo hoo! That's great! I, on the other hand, have something eating out the inside of my pepper leaves and leaving the outside edges! I sprayed with natural, organic spray and don't see any pests on or under the leaves. Pulled back some dirt and didn't see anything either. Cutworms?
