    Took forever figure out how to fruit them. Lol We used to chop them all down each October when theyd die after a freeze (short freezes here tho) They grow FAST come spring from ground to 10ft by May. We do nothing but rinse the chicken feeders and such off at the plant bases throughout the year...

    I'll be planting garlic tomorrow. I took 6 cuttings of my toms before the freeze and transplanted them into 18 hour lights and 1 gallon containers. They're lovin life! Harvested bananas before and after the freeze and this year was about 100lbs harvest. Half going to the animals :) awesome...

    I constantly give the chickens and rabbits herbs from the garden. I pinch if leaves of green basil, purple basil, rosemary, Mexican tarragon, oregano and dill- while checking on the gardens and then sprinkle them in the nest boxes and drop some on top of their treat dish.     We use the rabbit waste...directly in the gardens now, the plants LOVE it. The chicken waste I compost in a barrel composter (few weeks) then use it, never had a burning issue. I too read so much conflicting info I usually try it out on test areas 1st lol

    Yes. Sometimes mine hit 6 feet tall, 4 leaves lol plenty of flowers and okra so I haven't messed with it. But we don't eat much of it. Chickens LOVE it chopped and fried with jalapeno lol

    Red mustard greens doin well Okra is hanging on This one lone broccoli looks great! The rest of the row is still 3 inches tall :/ The herbs are all thriving Got some romaine lettuce, Swiss chards, asparagus, peas and carrots moving right along too :)

    My husband just mentioned getting some compost piles going ...real ones not my pile if chicken poop n hay lol We have so many large river oak trees and southern magnolia trees about to shed, literally a half ton of leaves that we move to pretty the grounds and often burn or send away lol well...
