Where do you live? Are you open to the idea of having your food shipped to you? These are the two most limiting factors for getting a corn and soy free feed. The best I can do is soy free and organic, and I order from countrysideorganics.com. If you are out west, there are more options out there.
I agree... in part, it is how it is prepared. The other part is that it is now consumed (in a non-fermented form) in much greater quantities than ever before, by more people, because it is inexpensive for food producers to use.

Comparing properly fermented soy to unfermented soy is apples to oranges, both nutritionally and chemically. What we (modern food industry) does to soy today to pack it into processed foods is far different than how it was prepared and consumed in the past. Good or bad, the...
Yeah-- it's rough! I have checked with my local and semi-local feed stores and was told that there is not enough interest. One feed store doesn't even carry any organic because they couldn't sell it, and the other says that they have a contract with Blue Seal for their "organic" line.

I have found much of the same information as you have...
Oh, I see! So you have seen customers for chicken products asking for corn and soy-free chicken/eggs? In that case it can be any of the above (nutritional, political, etc), but also it's important to mention that as time goes on, more and more people are developing allergies and intolerances to...
I think that people avoid it for ALL reasons mentioned above, and your answer will vary depending on who you talk to.
Now, I as a person do not like soy. That said, I don't think soy is evil! I just think that feeding it as a major part of their food ration every day is much different than...
