I spent my Spring break in Michigan with my Mom. My Dad died January 11th and Mom broke her leg on New Year's Eve. Dad was 94 and Mom is 87.
It has bee a rough 6 months for Joe and I. Besides losing my Dad, Joe's uncle died in September, and his father in November. I lost an Uncle in...
Muesky heard from him recently. He had been in the hospital with a serious infection he got from a cut on his hand. He is better now. I don't know about his Cornish stock.
Muesky knows how to reach him.
@mjgigax This Chocolate Cuckoo has her 6 chicks on the floor now. She is a great mother puffing up to protect them. She constantly talks to them.

Found s newly hatched Blue Paint NN Silkie chick under my broody girl this morning

Got 14 from Rebecca's eggs too. And 10/10 Welsummers from Jack's flock.
I now have 100 chicks in my brooders and I am a little scared about next Wednesday. There is another tray of 96 eggs to put...
Once, when DH left his truck window open over night, our young cat got in and found the box of Kleenex tissues on the back seat. She must have had a blast because she pulled out every tissue one at a time. It looked as if it had snowed all over the back seat and floor.
