Just keep making sure that the gosling is drinking plenty of water and putting it's nose to clean out the nostrils... You have to make sure always that the water is deep enough for them to clean the nostrils or nares as they call them. If this gosling does not get the nares cleaned out I am not...

Yes, 11 in 3 days. I was shocked but happy at the same time. I want to get a few more before putting them in the incubator.... With the freezing of the eggs I had to dispose of almost 40 eggs laid!!!

Today went and raided two more nest. Brought in 4 more eggs. So have11 eggs in 3 days after cleaning out all the old eggs exposed to freezing temp. These are all new freshly laid eggs now...

Hi Paul from the USA. I take my thumb and index finger grab their beak and tell them NO. That seemed to work for me. Now others on here may have a different way of doing it. You do not hold hard you just close the beak and say no.

I have heard it is not a good idea to try and hatch double yolkers due to not enough room in the shell for two, plus could be deformed as well. Just my thought.
