Like you we can see the storms coming. It is like our road has a barrier up. If I can just find the button to open it!

Well Kiki, it would be nice if you could send it my way (Rosenberg). I see the lightning your way but nothing happening here. I have 3 loads of laundry out--think that will help?

Welcome to the Texas thread and BYC! Sorry to hear about the Caracara. I have them flying with the turkey vultures in our area. They don't bother my chickens and I free range. :fl What kind of set up do you have for your flock?

Thanks for the heads-up on the weather. I am pretty well stocked but will probably bring more water in. First the CoVid, then the riots, and now this. Never a dull moment, is there?!

I have these sitting in my kitchen window. They close at night and open in the morning. Nothing like a bit of Spring inside.

Allen I agree with you. I think it is a hen. I've have one that looks similar to that and she lays me nice blue eggs.

Good Morning! Most of the time I use Pine Shaving. In the summer months I throw in hay cuttings.

Did everyone survive the wind/hail yesterday? We didn't get the high winds and only a splat of rain. Our winds only got up to 14 mph.

I have never heard of such a thing. That is a pretty cool gadget! The only scorpions I have seen were in Oklahoma. We would find them in our trailer house quite often. I have not seen any (knock on wood) living here in Rosenberg.
