I don't have the UK standard but for bantams in the US, the weights are: Cock- 38 oz Cockerel - 34 oz Hen- 34 oz Pullet- 30 oz I found this on the internet: Bantam Cock: 2 Kg, Hen: 1.6 Kg. which converts to about 4.5 lbs and 3.5 lbs And is still smaller than what is widely available now.

Most of the chocolates are way oversized too and would probably get DQ'd.

Don, Have a few chocs and black/splits on the ground now. Only a couple hens laying. I have had good fertility from the eggs I am getting, no trimming either. No stubs so far!!!!! I plan to put the girls in with the pure english bird in a month or so to see how the chicks turn out from...
