I'm glad Nicole likes her BLOBS. I always called them Blorps. The one with the white face is named Mask, according to Ethan.
Oh, and, yes, I found Elvis the Silkie when I got home. She was out in the open right next to a tree. I'm sure you guys were looking in the woods under cover. Silkies...
Here are the pics of the chicks as Jim requested. It always seems odd to me that chicks that will be all black as adults can have so much white in their fluff.

Were these from the eggs I swapped you?
Edited to say: Yes! They came from you. I found where I had posted chick pics and said they came from your eggs.
My Blacks have filled out more and their feather condition is much better now! I really love this pullet:
The cockerel: I need to weigh this guy. I know the Orp. bantams are bigger than some others, but he seems really big. It's not just feathers, either.
Just took some pics of my pair of Bantam Orps. that came from HenThymes eggs. I hatched a pair about 4 months ago. They need some conditioning, but they're looking good to me.
The two chicks I hatched recently are both black, I think. The one that had so much white on it still has white wing tips, but I'm thinking they will go away as it matures. Looks like a pair!
I'm going to get that little blue girl back from Jim someday. I still miss her!

Aren't they cute. I don't know why I have an occasional one pop out with yellow legs to begin with. Usually they darken but does anyone else have a clue? The parent stock is isolated (no one jumped the fence.) ]
I looking more closely at the chick and it's the toes that are yellow...
Snow pics! We had about 4 inches of powdery snow and I thought this blue girl would show up real well against the white:
Here's my Splash girl. She is a hard to get a good shot of.
My splash and blue ladies were both BV at the Shawnee show. But, they were the only ones there of their variety. Dick Horstman looked at them and said they were nice, but he was more interested in my Barred Rock Bantams which were also from his eggs.
I ended up with a black Orp. bantam rooster...
