yinepu, Can you post a pic of your brown colored black chicks? Could there have been chocolate in the bloodline?

Oh my. So, if you take varied group of chickens and cross them all up, what do you get?? Well, what do you get? You get a bunch of mixed up chickens. That's what you get. Shame on anyone who tries to sell them off as something special. It appears like a lack of space for these birds. They get...

Cuties. For now. Gold Laced give new meaning to the "Ugly Stage". But, then later they really are some of the lost beautiful Orps.

They are both beautiful girls. I prefer the tail with the slight pinch. But, I suspect that the other girl has more tail feathers coming. They have very nice chests, skirting, tight wings, and heads. They're lovely. I don't see any bums.

Oh, they are looking nice. Are you sure that Black rooster came from Irene and not me? LOL I'd be proud to say he was from my birds. Irene really has nice English Orps. I do have some extra LF Black, possibly split to Chocolate cockerels. I'm just saying.

Perhaps, I'm biased. But, if I want to see beautiful chickens, this thread is where they are, besides those in my backyard.
