    I keep the small sized concrete mixing tubs in all my pens and the birds stand in them to cool down. Plus I wet an area down in each pen in the shade for them to lay in.

    We normally have a lot of toads and I have flowerpot houses for them too. I think the drought has taken a toll on them too.....so far I've only seen one of my big ones in a flower bed and no smaller ones.
