    Pretty birds. Seems usually the ones with more white in the chest are cockerels. Your labeling looks correct. I like "pepper" the best :)

    It really does depend on the bird. Some lay every day and some just lay about 3 eggs/week. I pluck the feathers around the vents of both the hens and the cocks. Seems the pullets will start laying a few weeks to a month or so before the cockerel is mature enough. Patience......kills me haha.
