After 5 years to the day i originally joined. today I am back... the girls are still not allowed where I live but, my neighbors now are more open mined. We will see how it goes. I have missed have chickens. I do think it is very funny that i posted a recipe for an herbal mash a few years ago to...
They found a great home. But yes he need quail space and I am allergic to chicken eggs but not quail eggs and he prefers quail eggs so the compromise was to find them a better home before the law came knocking.
Thanks to JessNflock my girls have found a good home. Thank you for all the offers of home and thanks again jessie for taking them to a safe happy place.
So my girls need a new home! My hubby wants the space back for more quail. They are all about 7 months old. A couple are laying but I'm not sure who. I have a new hampshire, a gold and black polish, a austrlorpe, and the white one which is supposed to be somthing special but I can't remember...
So my hubby is letting me keep the girls for now. We did have a surprise rooster and could not find a home for him. We had to dispatch him since chickens are illegal were we are. But if you must do it here is a link to a video. She makes it so much more peaceful and natural. It is a little...

My hubby wants me to get rid of my girls to make room for more quail. I have an australope, a gold laced polish, a buff New Hampshire, and a white one that I'm not sure what she is. They have been raised all naturally. I grow a lot of their food so they will eat just about anything. They are all...

He's living it up in my empty spare bedroom. Walls and floor are papered and has shaving. LOL I also built him a temp perch so he can look out the window. But its still not anyway for a hunter gatherer to live.
As far as feed store I called a few and they said he'd be eaten. So that's only a...
Please help me find him a home! Anyone? I'm on the treasure coast anyone in Okeechobee, palm city, fort pierce, Jupiter farms, any where. There is a matching hen that's not related. If you wanted a breeder pair. I will even deliver him or them if you're nor to far. I'd rather not give her up if...
As some of you know I am a chicken outlaw and a crowing rooster can be a problem in my situation. I really hate to give him up since I've grown so fond of him. He and his little haram are quite close too. I don't believe he is aggressive at all but he is still young. He is about 5 1/2 months...
