Sorry to hear that they’re a bit under the weather. I’m sure the vet will give them great care, and they’ll be feeling better soon. And, they’re getting so big! The feathering is really coming along! Let me know what the vet says. 🥰
I’m confident you’re going to figure it out! As an adult rooster, it would be a good idea to have him with a group of hens rather than only Ty Lee. That way, they’ll be other hens to distract him. More hens means more Avatar names! ☺️
Azula is showing all of the signs of a cockerel, but don’t worry about Ty Lee getting bothered too much while they’re this little. They’ll want to play fight. Some of my Serama cockerels do it a little right now (they’re about the same age), but it’s natural. They’re actually more interested in...
The sock looks like a good idea. ☺️ Years ago, I had an Easter Egger, Molly (there’s a photo of her in my BYC Member Interview), that I diaper-trained. She did really well with it. I bought that one though. Good sock diaper idea!
I think they’ll be fine. The photo doesn’t really show anything alarming. Their droppings won’t always look the same. My first guess would be that they’re taking in more water. The girls look very healthy. Just keep an eye on the droppings, but they’ll probably be back to normal tomorrow.
How are Azula and Ty Lee? The change could possibly be due to something you’re feeding them, in my opinion. Are they still eating the baby food? Are they eating enough of the chick crumbles? Check out this article:

Azula and Ty Lee are very sweet chicks… and look very comfy! Many adventures ahead for them. Just make sure to not leave them unattended when you take them outside… they’ll love it out there when the weather’s nice. Sweet dreams girls!🥰
Adorable ❤️ I love their coloring… going to be beautiful as adults. That will be terrific seeing them fully feathered. You should consider entering them in some of our contests. They both look like they’ve grown as well. ☺️
