Sad to report that a raccoon dug under the tractor around 5pm yesterday and killed all of our chickens. The raccoon didn't make it either. I guess they aren't strictly nocturnal. Wife and kids are very upset and I'm not doing much better. Thanks to everyone who took an interest in this thread...
Yes they all seem healthy, one is missing in the pics because she's so afraid of everything it's hard to get a pic that's not blurred. To soon to tell cockrell/pullet? No signs of red yet but I think that the one in the last pic might be...
Also for anyone interested the reason there are 7 is because Agway in Danbury, CT was doing a buy 6 get 1 free. Helping the new folks get started with the chicken math. Not sure if they still are having a sale or if it's only that agway.

It would be easier to figure out if I knew which one of the 7 breeds listed above snowball is supposed to be... next time I'll have to think of a way to label them or something
