I first ordered a harness on Amazon from the company called Yesito. The images they showed had the diaper attached as well, but when the harness got here it did not come with a diaper, and I was disappointed. I ordered yet another harness from the same company, but from a different product they...

I have no Frizzles, unfortunately, they would not do good around here, especially in a mixed flock, so I will not be getting any.

There is a breed review section here on BackYard Chickens for Rhode Island Red Bantams. Here is the link...

Rhode Island Reds and Rhode Island Red Bantams have a huge personality difference. The former is known for being aggressive and bold to start a fight, as well as being high in the pecking order, while the latter is often stated to be sweet and friendly. As you read before, I have Ruby, who is...

Cool! When exactly is the next competition, and how does it work? Sorry, I didn't understand.

Overall it seems like all of the four mystery chicks seem to be mixes of different breeds. The first two appear to be mixes of the Easter Eggers, the third one looks like a mix mostly of the Speckled Sussex, and the last one looks like it has the rooster shown in the picture as its parent but...

Bantams are the best! Can you post pictures of your mystery chicks? That is fine if not but I want to see if I can figure out what they are!

There is never a for sure chance that you will get chickens that like affection. Most of them do not because they are prey animals-while they understand humans feed them, they still have to be wary because that is their instinct. After all, humans are huge compared to them and we make quick and...

It could have been hatchery quality, or some other kind of quality. Were their tails short and round like Cochins? I know they wouldn't be Cochins, but I am just giving an example of tail type.

The bantam version is definitely better than the large fowl! I hear Rhode Island Reds are aggressive and dominant but Rhode Island Red Bantams are the opposite of that.

You have a bantam named Ruby too?! How cute!

I will be following this thread! I absolutely love bantams, you almost can never go wrong with them in comparison to large fowl. I have a Rhode Island Red Bantam hen named Ruby and she has her own harness and diaper. I ride her around in the car and she gets to go to places. She loves it and she...
