But seriously, @bill3607, with the glasses, - and without them during totality - you see the sun as you can never see it at any other time. The corona, the "diamond ring effect," are all just breathtaking! If you're "not impressed," you're not experiencing it at all.
Don't have to travel, it's going right over my house here in SE Missouri. We got to see the one in 2017 in totality also. Eclipses are AMAAAAZING and if you don't think so, obviously you didn't use the free safety glasses every business and Chamber of Commerce gives away for free. Crickets and...
