Not a good time for swapping birds due to Newcastles, but when things settle you may have some luck if you supply details about your birds (age, show or production quality, vaccinated or not, etc) and be more specific about what you are looking for :) .

I think quite a lot of $$$$ is spent on developing vaccinations for poultry diseases

Pastured eggs are pretty widely available in so cal in stores. Expensive but not hard to come by. Have they tried whole foods or Trader Joes? The local supplier here is a farm in Ramona and the hens really do roam pastures.

Lloyn in Chula Vista will do repairs/servicing on many types of incubator. Have not been in a while but super nice people.

I have ~16 week Pullets for sale. $15 each. Should be great layers (leghorn mothers) and they look cool. White with black spots. They have cost me more than that to hatch and raise them.

Lyons in El Cajon used to service them, in fact I am planning on taking most of my bators to them for a tune up. All 3 r-coms have issues.
