I noticed this can just be a sign of fear especially if only one birds does it. So they might have been picking on her for awhile.

She does look scalped which isn’t uncommon from older hens to young ones especially if they don’t have a mother to protect them. Keep an eye out for any aggression towards other birds.

I don’t think so it looked more like bone than brain. Although saline would’ve been my choice and safer. With eyes swollen like that it’s possible she had brain swelling or other complications from the injuries.
