No I don't use tiktok or instagram that much but will take all the training experience I can get. I want to know what I'm doing before getting the pup. I think I will go with Black Lab. Is a female or a male easier to train??

We have some local lab/ and retriever breeders within 2 hours away

Not hunting - after one is shot they run off and sometimes you can loose the blood trail that can lead to never finding the deer. We can't smell where the deer went but a dog can and that can led you to more blood to go off of.

Yeah, they can't track down a deer, find a shed, grab it with their mouth and bring it back to you!

So I am thinking Golden Retriever, Chocolate Lab, Black Lab, and Yellow Lab, also maybe a Blue Tick coon hound. But I don't think he would get along with my cat.

I am thinking about Labs or Golden Retrievers.?
