How about clicker training as a positive marker of wanted behaviour?

All I am seeing is typical Springer Spaniel behaviour, doing its job as a flushing dog which is not supposed to chase after the prey but to continue flushing until told otherwise and regularly redirecting itself to the owner in case of being send to another direction.
